Teens own the stage at Miramar Theater every Wednesday night from
7:30 - 9 pm! Doors open and sign up begins at 7 pm. Teens from all
over the city are welcome to the mic (and listen, too!)
Creative Writing
Bring your pen and paper to the SWC Salon! Meet up with other writers,
story tellers and emcees for a little conversation, a little creativity, a little
coaching and plenty of cool energy! Thursdays from 5:30 - 7p at
Woodland Pattern Book Center, 720 E. Locust St.
Teen Slam Leagues
Voltage! is the individual slam series to determine which Wisconsin teens
will make the Brave New Voices team. The 2008-09 search will begin in
October.
There are slam leagues happening at your school now, too! Well,
maybe not your school. Contact us about confirming your school's
team for the upcoming season. Each school needs only a minimum of

Throughout the year, we create and scout opportunities for young
people to perform their original works. If you would like to be
considered for this traveling team, please let us know. Additionally,
teens who participate in our various competitions are often extended
invitations for other outside projects

collect community service credits, please let us know! Administrative,
Events, Mailings, Internet Research, Phone calls, etc.
